Pottering to universal

Took our time getting going even though still waking at stupid o'clock clock.  Missing out on breakfast within these theme park dAys and getting on the road.  Hitting l.a rush hour not ideal especially when I forgot we were driving an automatic and pressing down on the brake like ito was the clutch.

Screech... got to universal studios later than we hoped but straight into it. Free wifI so live blog. First impressions are it blows the dated Disney out of the water. More immersive in terms of set up, better facilties and even sprays to cool you down.  Movie sets that actually look realistic and appealing to people 8 to 80 I would say.

We pottered to Potter where hogwartshe loomed and I left the adrenalin junkies to their roller coaster. Q

(Carys) Harry Potter ride was great! Absokoutley loved the 4D effect!

After that things gotherwise very hot and some like it that way. Surprised to find Marilyn had a view on Welsh road signs but this is Hollywood baby...blondeseems have more fun.

(Carys) The tour bus that we just went on was awesome! We passed lots of stages and in a couple, people were filming live!

We had a 4D King-Kong-Tyranisaurus-Rex Adventure, whigh was awesome!  We passed byour system where they filmed things like The Grinch, Jaws and Jurassic Park. It was awesomeasy to here all about the filming.

That took us too lunchtime. Food over the last couple of days no more than snacks and sarnies to maximise value for money in theme parks.
